Where are we located?
Our address is: 23990 Highway 80, Lake, MS 39092
We are about 2 miles north of I-20 in Scott County. When exiting I-20 at exit 96, Lake-Norris Rd, turn north.
Go 2 miles, then turn left at Highway 80. We are 0.6 miles on the right.
We are approximately 9 miles from Forest, MS and 10 miles from Newton, MS.
Our Campground
We are a newer park. Grand Opening was July 2024. Our 49 sites are located on 7 1/2 beautifully, wooded acres. We have city water and city sewer. Every site has 30- and 50-amp breakers. We have some back-in sites and some pull-through sites. Yes, we can accommodate those big rigs. And we do have some month to month sites available as well.
March 2026 we opened our laundromat at the front of the property. Now it’s super convenient to wash your cloths while visiting with us.

Local Amenities
The town of Lake has a surprising number of businesses considering how small it is. Right across from the park is a little sandwich and salad shop, Maters & Taters. Dollar General is just down the road. We have a doctor's office, a post office and The Hornets Nest (in honor of our Lake High School Hornets). The Hornets nest is a gas station, store and deli just down the road. About 2 miles away is a Loves Travel Stop, a 24 hour store.
AMENITIES Just Down the Road
Forest, Ms is 9 miles west on Highway 80. Newton MS is 10 miles east on Highway 80.
Both towns have a Walmart, Sonic, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Popeyes, McDonalds and a variety of restaurants, gas stations, hair salons, banks & other stores.
Jackson, MS is about 55 miles west on I-20. Meridian, MS is about 39 miles east on I-20.

We are located within a mile of the Bienville National Forest. Marathon Lake is just 14 miles south. Marathon offer hiking trails and lakes for fishing. We have hundreds of miles of old county roads nearby for you to explore.
